Refund policy

Effective Date: 1 January 2025

This Refund & Return Policy applies to all purchases made on Saeyang via https://saeyang.be. It explains your legal rights under EU and Belgian consumer law as well as additional terms offered by us.

By purchasing from Saeyang, operated by Project Fox bv, you agree to the following terms

1. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)

In accordance with EU law, you have the right to withdraw from your online purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.

  • To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing at sales@saeyang.be within the 14-day period.
  • You must return the goods no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision to withdraw.
  • We will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, within 14 calendar days of your withdrawal notice. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or proof of their return, whichever comes first.
  • Refunds will be made to the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless agreed otherwise.

 2. Saeyang’s Extended Return Window

In addition to your statutory rights, we provide an extended return period of 30 calendar days from the date of purchase.

  • After the initial 14-day withdrawal period, you may still return eligible items up to 30 days after purchase.
  • Returns made during this extended period are subject to the same conditions set out in Section 3.

 3. Conditions of Return

  • Items must be returned in their original, undamaged packaging and in a condition suitable for resale.
  • If items are handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, you are liable for any diminished value.
  • Returns must be postmarked within the applicable return period (14 or 30 days as stated above).

4. Exclusions

  • Custom or personalised products and consumables (once used) cannot be returned unless faulty.
  • All other products, including discounted or sale items, are covered by this policy and may be returned under the same conditions.

5. Repairs, Replacements and Refunds

  • If a product is defective or not as described, you are entitled under EU law to request a repair or replacement at no extra cost.
  • If repair or replacement is not possible, or would be disproportionate, you are entitled to a full refund.
  • Where stock permits, defective or damaged products may be replaced with the same item.

 6. Return Authorisation

Please obtain authorisation before sending back any product. Contact us at sales@saeyang.be for return instructions.

7. Return Shipping

  • Unless the product is faulty or not as described, you are responsible for return shipping costs.

 8. Return Package Requirements

When returning an item, you must include:

  • The product in its original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt).
  • Any accessories, manuals, or components supplied with the item.

 9. Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be issued within the statutory period of 14 calendar days from the withdrawal notice, provided we have received the goods or proof of return.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
  • You will receive an email confirmation once your return is processed.

 10. Restocking Fees

We do not charge restocking fees.
